Voting

VOTING

If your vote weren't so powerful, they wouldn't be trying so hard to stop you from voting.

Does everyone’s vote count? Well yes and no. Turns out that even though every vote is equal, some are more equal than others. This sounds confusing but hear us out. The facts are that hundreds of votes in every election circle are not captured because of voter apathy. For example, many potential voters always feel that their votes don't count because government policies do not favor them - they think their votes don't count equally. So no, even though every vote should count equally, the reality is that there is a lot of inequality. Voting is your right, and none of these should be reasons why you should not vote.

The bad news is that if you don't vote you help opposing parties win elections.

That is why it is so important to make the effort to go out and vote. Because voting will only keep getting harder if we don’t show up to the polls, demand that our vote counts, and keep our legislators accountable. The only way to fight against inequality and bad policies is:  VOTING.
